Lisää tagi | Yhteenveto: | Currently there is a great impact on the deterioration of cognitive functions and its incidence in the performance of normal activities of an older adult, for which in this case study relevant information was obtained through different techniques of psychological application for the respective inquiry and obtaining information according to the reality of the patient. Different sessions were held to identify and obtain data in relation to the individual's behavior and to determine how the deterioration of cognitive processes can affect the daily life of the elderly, for which the patient showed willingness and collaboration for the development of the study of case through semi-structured interview, direct observation, clinical history and psychometric test. The results obtained are favorable to provide timely information through strategies that help develop different skills to avoid slowing down cognitive processes so that the older adult can increase different daily activities such as physical exercises, intellectual exercises and the strengthening of networks of affective support in social as well as family settings. |
