Heart failure is a major public health problem in the world. This affectation represents a great problem that is caused by a structural or functional disorder and impairs the ventricular filling or expulsion capacity of the blood. It is characterized in turn by the presence of cardinal symptoms, such as dyspnea, fatigue and fluid retention. Heart failure being a disease with high prevalence, according to international data almost 550 thousand Americans are hospitalized each year for this disease while 650 thousand people are registered in Europe, being reason for income of patients in delicate clinical conditions, have decompensation, For this reason, a detailed study will be carried out through your medical history. With this clinical study will be announced the importance of performing a respective care and improve the knowledge we have about the heart failure disease. Finally, it is of great importance to emphasize that the application of the nursing care process allows the satisfactory evolution of the patient, providing the appropriate care according to their pathology, identifying the functional patterns that are altered, elaborating a plan of care that allows the improvement of the health status of the patient.
