Intervención fisioterapéutica en paciente masculino de 55 años de edad con bursitis pre-rotuliana.

This clinical case focuses on a 55-year-old male patient diagnosed with pre-patellar bursitis, which is an inflammation of the Bursa located in the anterior part of the knee, just in front of the kneecap since this Bursa helps as a shock absorber between the bones. and soft tissues. The main objective of the physiotherapy intervention is to address this pathology and improve the quality of life of the patient's knee. In this case, a detailed evaluation is included, which is the intensity and duration of pain presented in the anterior region of the knee, the functional impact, through observation and palpation in order to better understand the pre-patellar bursitis that the patient presents. Results: once the physiotherapy tests were carried out, it was possible to detect that the patient had pre-patellar bursitis due to prolonged kneeling, which suggested continuous monitoring to monitor the progression of the treatment and adjust it as necessary. In conclusion: it is expected that through this physiotherapy intervention, the patient will experience a significant improvement in their range of motion as well as present less pain in their bursa, thus reducing the inflammation in pre-patellar bursitis and thus being able to present improvement in their daily activities through the established treatment.
