Pagos móviles en la red inalámbrica del Almacén Babahoyo de la ciudad de Babahoyo.

This case study analyzes the possibility of implementing mobile payments on the wireless network of Almacén Babahoyo. This warehouse is dedicated to the sale of wholesale and retail clothing and footwear in the city of Babahoyo. The study shows current challenges that the store presents, such as the only existence of traditional payment methods and the need for modernization for a better customer experience and operational efficiency. Using quantitative and qualitative approaches, the technical, economic and security factors that could cause problems in the adoption of digital payments are analyzed. The results indicate that the warehouse does have a stable wireless infrastructure, but its security and speed must be evaluated before integrating mobile payment solutions. In addition, concerns were detected about cost, employee training and customer acceptance. For a good implementation, training of the work team, the use of appropriate technological providers, tests with frequent customers and reinforcements in cybersecurity are proposed. The adoption of mobile payments is a key opportunity for Almacén Babahoyo as it allows it to offer fast, secure transactions and at the same time improve customer satisfaction and experience, thus improving its competitiveness within the local market.
