Riassunto:Education requires constant changes, training and updating of knowledge in order to reap positive results in its pedagogical system, the purpose is to improve the educational quality that is provided. The objective of the present investigation was to design a strategy guide for the development of cognitive abilities and recognition of numbers for it was necessary to resort to the different techniques and investigative methods that allowed its realization concluding that. The strategies currently used in the institution do not satisfactorily meet expectations, presenting children with difficulties such as not recognizing quantities, reading them, writing them, it is difficult for them to perform simple mathematical operations, in response to this concern, a series of didactic activities is used to promote and improve the intellectual abilities of the children through a didactic guide that guides the teacher which alternatives to improve and apply when observing this problem. Each one of the activities that have been considered have been selected in a meticulous way and thinking first of the student that can develop them oriented by the teacher
