| Summary: | When obstetric hemorrhage is reviewed, it is difficult to find the appropriate definition due to the lack of consensus on what constitutes excessive blood loss. Many clinical circumstances can be listed in which there is an appreciably increased risk of bleeding, showing that severe bleeding can occur at any time throughout pregnancy and the puerperium. The timing of bleeding is widely used to classify obstetric bleeding as antepartum hemorrhage (PAH) or postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). The present clinical case was carried out in a 26-year-old patient with postpartum hemorrhage due to uterine rupture, in the GENERAL HOSPITAL Dr. GUSTAVO DOMINGUEZ ZAMBRANO in the area of the surgical center, PPH being one of the most frequent complications that can occur in any of the stages of labor, in this case it occurred in the stage of delivery. Our main objective is to apply the nursing care process in the patient with postpartum hemorrhage due to uterine rupture. A meticulous evaluation of the patient was carried out, guided by the functional patterns of MARJORIE GORDON, through which it was possible to determine the patterns that were altered or dysfunctional and thanks to these findings, carry out a correct nursing care process to execute it effectively and achieve The improvement of the patient during the hospital stay, in this way, we can help the rate of maternal deaths from POST-DELIVERY HEMORRHAGES not significantly increase its figures since what the MSP intends is that this index does not increase its percentages. |
