Adicionar Tag | Resumo: | The Caluma canton is located 62 km southwest of Guaranda, capital of the Province of Bolivar. It is characterized by its temperate climate and natural environment, rich in flora and fauna, which make this place a destination not to be missed. The objective of this research work is to determine the potential of the Caluma canton for the practice of adventure tourism activities, thus reflecting the potential of the canton's territorial environment for adventure tourism. In addition, a mixed methodology of qualitative and quantitative approaches was implemented. An exploratory and descriptive research was established, using data collection techniques such as observation, surveys and interviews. Instruments such as questionnaires, observation sheets and information check sheets were used for this purpose. The results showed that the canton of Caluma has great potential for the practice of adventure tourism activities, since it has the natural resources and infrastructure necessary to carry out a wide range of activities in the area. |
