要約:This case study was carried out in the EU Emigdio Esparza Moreno with the aim of analyzing the impact of sociocultural and pedagogical factors on the academic performance of 4th year EGB students. The applied methodology was made up of a mixed approach, the types of descriptive, field and documentary research, the techniques are interview and observation sheet accompanied by their respective instruments, which were addressed to 35 students and 2 teachers from parallel B. The The results obtained were: in the subject of Language and Literature, 48% of the students obtained a regular grade corresponding to 7 and 3% obtained an insufficient grade (6); in Mathematics, 9% performed poorly, representing a grade of 6; the social and pedagogical factors that influence academic performance are: family environment, school environment, low economic level, weak parental support. In conclusion, the most significant factors that affect school performance are the parents' lack of interest in school work and the economic level and the level of academic performance of the students is medium-high because most of the grades are between 7-10.
