This study was applied at the IESS San Francisco De Quito General Hospital in the area of hospitalization of internal medicine and the development of it is understood in etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods and treatment. Pleural effusion is the abnormal accumulation of fluid in the lung pleura, it can be caused by underlying pathologies to a related disease and it presents with various symptoms. Nursing care is determined in a systematic process, for its implementation a plan is proposed according to the assessment by functional patterns of Marjory Gordon and the use of the taxonomy NANDA, NIC, NOC; nursing interventions are based on scientific foundations, through these seeks to contribute to the recovery of the patient's health and your wellbeing. |
