Sumari:The present clinical case is a patient who has been diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia and cervical cancer. It is important to note that this pathology has a high rate of occurrence and the statistics show that the morbidity rate is high. The objective of the research focuses on executing the nursing care process in the patient through the assessment of the symptoms that she presents, to establish a definitive diagnosis and define the nursing actions to be carried out in the treatment of the presented pathologies. The methodology used is based on the NANDA, NOC and NIC taxonomies, in the stages of diagnosis, results and nursing intervention respectively. The data obtained during the investigative process show that the patient acquired pneumonia in the community as a consequence of the environment where she resided. Regarding cervical cancer, she contracted it as a result of a genital infection with the Human Papilloma Virus. The symptoms that the patient presented were: dyspnea, dry cough, back pain, fatigue, chest and lumbar pain, pelvic odor and irregular menstruation. Nursing interventions were performed where activities such as: opening the airway with the chin lift technique, oxygen administration and therapies related to the adequate supply of oxygen and pharmacological treatment to relieve pain were highlighted. The conclusion of the study is that, although it is true, the pathology was not eradicated, it did achieve relief from the acute pain that the patient felt.
