Duelo paternal y su influencia en el estado emocional de una adulta de 28 años de la ciudad de Babahoyo

The nature of this case study aims to analyze parental grief and its influence on the emotional state of a 28-year-old adult from the city of Babahoyo. Province of Los Ríos, this research begins with the theoretical foundations about mourning and emotional states, as well as the phases of mourning and the types of mourning to demonstrate the characteristics that a person has when going through these stages of loss, later the methodology was carried out by applying the qualitative inductive method, the technique used was direct observation through a semi-structured interview where a clinical record was written, the BECK Psychometric Battery of depression and the Hamilton Depression Scale were applied, with respect to the results obtained were applied four sessions that helped to collect data, achieving the detection of the problem and then carrying out the application of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, structuring a matrix of the psychopathological picture to identify if there is any syndrome, determining that the patient has a depressive disorder moderate complying with the characteristics of the criteria of the diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders DSM-5.
