description The objective of this research work is to analyze the innovations and advantages of tourism promotion through internet media such as social networks, public management websites of tourist destinations in the Balzar Canton, Los Ríos Province. In addition to that, the importance of adopting a marketing strategy that implements the media, social networks and search engines in the online tourism promotion that reflect in states and regions, public and private organizations is presented. Through the marketing plan, there is interest in disseminating information about the Balzar Canton, its destination and private organizations involved in the tourism production chain such as hotels, tour operators, travel agencies, transporters, restaurants, among others, seeking to promote their products and services. According to Biz, one of the main problems that will arise when applying this method is access to information and the ability to process it for operational and strategic use. Information, consumer and service provider culture are also reflected in habits, values and different customs and affect the way in which information is treated, transmitted and shared.

Information, consumer and service provider culture are also reflected in habits, values and different customs and affect the way in which information is treated, transmitted and shared.El objetivo de la realización de este trabajo investigativo es analizar las innovaciones y las ventajas que produce la promoción turística a través de los medios de internet como lo son las redes sociales, sitios de Internet de gestión pública de los destinos turísticos del Cantón Balzar, Provincia de Los Ríos. Adicional a eso se presenta la importancia de adoptar una estrategia de marketing de que implemente los medios, redes sociales y de búsqueda en la promoción turística online que reflejen en estados y regiones, organizaciones públicas y privadas. A través del plan de marketing se presenta el interés de difundir información sobre el Cantón Balzar, su destino y las organizaciones privadas involucradas en la cadena productiva de turismo como hoteles, operadoras turísticas, agencias de viaje, transportadores, restaurantes, entre otros, que buscan promover sus productos y servicios. Según (Biz, 2011) uno de los principales problemas que se presentaría al momento de aplicar este método es el acceso a la información y la habilidad en procesarla para darle un uso operativo y estratégico.
