Because of this, the present paper is oriented to hospital employees and thus create suitable to carry out its work within a range of security and appropriate prophylaxis.Para conocer acerca de la bioseguridad intrahospitalaria y su efecto en las áreas de Cirugía, UCI (Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos) y Emergencia en el Hospital de Infectología “Dr. José Daniel Rodríguez Maridueña” de la ciudad de Guayaquil durante el período 2013-2014, se hizo un estudio de tipo descriptivo. Los datos recopilados en el este estudio, se obtuvieron a través de las herramientas de investigación, como lo es la encuesta descriptiva guiada a los miembros de la salud que laboran dentro de estas áreas, quienes en conjunto forman el grupo de estudio. El propósito de este trabajo investigativo es reconocer la práctica de las normativas y los métodos de higiene y bioseguridad dentro de los hospitales, para que por medio de la exposición de este conducto se le proporcione al personal de la medicina renovarse acerca de las reglas primordiales de bioseguridad de acuerdo a cada sección de trabajo.
