Abuso sexual y su incidencia en la salud mental en una mujer de 20 años del cantón Quinindé

This case study has as its theme sexual abuse and its incidence on mental health in a 20-year-old woman from the Quinindé canton, which arises as a result of the concern of a female person who for a long time has been suffering from worrisome problems. Such as negative thoughts about herself, concentration problems, feelings of sadness, inferiority, guilt, among other signs and symptoms, caused by the sexual violence that she has been tolerating from some relatives and acquaintances since her childhood. Through this case study, we seek to determine sexual abuse and its incidence on mental health in a 20-year-old woman from the Quinindé canton in order to inquire about the problem and implement the appropriate techniques and tools to handle this case. Various diagnostic assessment methods were used to collect data and information, such as the Hamilton Anxiety Scale and the Beck Depression Inventory, for post-assessment of the patient's problems, and the medical history as a tool, as it describes all the patient's conditions, as well as the data on them and their pathological history.
