Description
Summary:The research study focused on the application of active didactic strategies for teaching Natural Sciences, these are fundamental in the teaching and learning process, they promote active participation and the construction of significant learning. Its objective was to determine the influence of strategies in the teaching of Natural Sciences in seventh-year students of Basic General Education at the Ciudad de Babahoyo Basic Education School, 2024. A mixed, descriptive, explanatory, non-experimental design approach was used. . The sample included 37 students and 1 teacher. Likert scale surveys were applied to collect data. The findings reveal that 32% of students feel unmotivated, 49% have low participation in class, 41% perceive a lack of reinforcement from the teacher, 68% lack access to a science laboratory, 61% does not use digital resources and 46% consider active strategies to be favorable. Additionally, it was evident that teachers have not received training in new teaching strategies and only use technological resources to prepare lesson plans, they work more with expository classes, it was determined that the students' learning level is intermediate. Conclusions: The implementation of active teaching strategies in the subject of Natural Sciences is highly beneficial, promoting more meaningful and participatory learning. It is recommended to continue applying and developing these strategies in the educational field to improve the quality of teaching and learning in this subject.
