| Resumo: | The following clinical case study is focused on a 34-year-old female patient who comes to the emergency area in the company of her husband for presenting a clinical picture of ± 9 hours of evolution, characterized by contraction-type abdominal pain in the hypogastrium. which radiates to the lumbar region with hyperthermia of 38ºC, edema in the lower limbs and chills. Vital signs were immediately taken, revealing BP 140/90, HR 110xmin, RR 22, Tº 38, SPO2 98%, Weight 78.80kg, Height 157cm, Glasgow 15%. A blood sample is taken from the patient to perform blood count, blood chemistry and pelvic ultrasound tests. A bladder catheter and peripheral line are also placed through which sodium chloride 0.9% 80ml + 2 ampoules of magnesium sulfate 4g are administered IV in 30 minutes (impregnation). As well as the control of vital signs and water balance (income and expenses). Once the patient was stabilized, she was transferred to the delivery room area for follow-up and control. It is important to mention that the objective of the following case study is to be able to elaborate the nursing process in pregnant women at 34.5 weeks with a diagnosis of preeclampsia and thus contribute to improving their health status, prioritizing nursing interventions according to the needs required by the patient. part of the patient. |
