Sammanfattning:In the research on "MOTIVATION AND ITS INCIDENCE IN THE TRAINING OF COMPETENCES OF STUDENTS OF 4 - 5 YEARS OF THE SCHOOL OF BASIC EDUCATION," PEDRO LEOPOLDO BALLADARES MOLINA "PROVINCE LOS RIOS, CANTON URDANETA, PARISH CATARAMA". The study was carried out considering the problem of the low motivation that the teacher uses within learning, the foundations and the independent and dependent variables, a survey was applied to the students, performing the analysis and interpretation of results. To conclude that most of the teaching process applied by the teacher worries that a great percentage of motivation is needed so that the students' competences emerge in the classroom, a good motivation in the different processes of the class will help to improve the learning and therefore their competences. The project proposes a proposal that consists of the design of a pedagogical guide with motivation strategies that will be applied for 4-5 years of initial education, this will allow a significant learning and development of competencies appropriate to their age, making reference to the motivation in the procedural and attitudinal cognitive field that will contribute to a more integral education, trying to apply learning motivation strategies to raise the academic performance specifically in the development of their competences, maximizing them by seeking a quality and warm education not only in knowledge but also in also in values.
