Pensamientos negativos y su incidencia en la autoestima de una adolescente de 18 años de la ciudad de Babahoyo

In the following investigation, a case study is presented that aims to establish the incidence of negative thoughts on self-esteem, which has been carried out in an 18-year-old adolescent from the city of Babahoyo due to the fact that he presents cognitive impairments which they affect their interpersonal relationships, daily activities and their socio-environmental development. For the location of the presumed diagnosis Moderate depressive episode, criteria to be met from the manual for the classification of mental and behavioral disorders (ICD-10) were considered, in addition, different psychometric instruments were used, which will provide us with quantitative data of the patient such as the Beck inventory. which provided us with information on the patient's emotional state, the Ruiz and Lujan automatic thought inventory for the classification of the patient's automatic thoughts, the Hamilton anxiety test to find out how often our patient feels anxiety and finally the ruiz self-esteem test Therefore, and based on the affected areas of the patient, a psychotherapeutic scheme was proposed with different techniques under the approach of cognitive behavioral therapy as a possible solution to the patient's problem.
