The objective of this research project is to determine the risk factors and their incidence in pneumonia in infants under 5 years of age served in the Materno Enrique Ponce Luque Babahoyo los Ríos October 2018 - April 2019. The research method that was used was the deductive that allowed us to follow a synthetic process to establish possible causes with a quantitative modality. The types of research that were used were descriptive and field that helped us obtain information on the variables that were required in the study and to collect all kinds of information on cases of pneumonia in the health center to use the techniques and instruments It is concluded that the risk factors in pneumonia directly affect the elderly and children under 5 years, the beginning of the risk factors in pneumonia is produced by germs found in the air we breathe, hygiene standards, malnutrition is directly related to the onset of pneumonia in infants under 5 years of age. |
