| الملخص: | This case study is about describing, and carrying out an analysis about the topic: interpersonal communication and its contribution to the work performance of the secretaries of the administrative area of the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Urdaneta canton, Los Ríos Province, which has as Purpose to propose solutions to the problem exposed in said study. For this, the deductive method was used through which relevant information was obtained ranging from the general to the particular, however, for the collection of information, it was developed as an instrument such as a questionnaire, applied to the secretaries of the place before mentioned, to collect and analyze the information obtained. It should be noted that the main objective of the research is to investigate how interpersonal communication contributes to the work performance of secretaries. In the interview conducted, the secretaries comment that interpersonal communication does not apply, so they also state that they are not evaluated to measure their level of performance. Therefore, it is concluded to apply immediate solutions to the problems detected, through the development of online courses through the "Educagratis" platform. According to the deduction of the results obtained, it is to propose the implementation of talks, training, so that in this way the secretaries strengthen their knowledge and skills and therefore it is also suggested to the authorities that they regularly evaluate the performance level of their collaborators, and thus the objectives proposed by the institution can be met |
