| Samenvatting: | The next clinical case to be treated is of a 56 year old male parient, who attends the health home due to severe pain, whit nausea anda sometimes vomiting, in which a medical evaluation he is diagnosed witn cholelithiasis, the patient does not refer to a personal pathological history, but if he refers that his mother suffers from grade I obesity, a biochemical evaluation is carried out, he presents hipercolesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia, in physical examination the patient is oriented in time and space, he only presents strong colicky pain in the right upper quadrant, when performing a nutritional assessment through BMI (Index of Body Mass) where overweight is diagnosed, in addition to having an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases according to the waist index, and Android obesity in the index / hip result. When perfoming nutrcional intervention in which our main objective is to recover the nutritional status according to the pathology that the patient presents, a low-fat diet is prescribed adjusted to their dietary needs, by executing the due follow-up and monitoring, a better result was obtained that was favorable for the patients health thanks to the care nutritional provided, during the entire analysis period the patient went to a normal state in weight according to BMI, a balanced diet combined with physical activity, can improve our lifestyle and avoid the risk of suffering from many non-communicable diseases. |
