The problem of femicide is addressed through the discourse that this medium exposes, starting from the following thematic categories that have helped in the development and analysis of this case study such as: violence, discourse and communication, with the purpose of understanding Under what parameters is a mediated discourse constructed which becomes something natural for the audiences. It presents an analysis through a file with the data of the women killed by femicide and in what way the event occurred, it also finds brief concepts of what femicide is and how the media have been involved in them, such as the cases for homicides and murders. |

Los métodos y técnicas utilizadas para este estudio fueron los métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos, las técnicas de entrevista y instrumento de ficha de análisis correspondiente del diario digital Universo del años 2020 que comprende a las noticias de femicidio. Se aborda la problemática del femicidio a través del discurso que este medio expone, partiendo de las siguientes categorías temáticas que han ayudado en el desarrollo y análisis de este estudio de caso como: la violencia, el discurso y la comunicación, con el propósito de comprender bajo que parámetros se construye un discurso mediatizado el cual se convierte en algo natural para las audiencias.
