Тодорхойлолт
Тойм:Favism is the acute hemolysis that occurs after ingestion of fava beans or their pollen. Symptoms begin to develop hours after ingestion, the most common being nausea, vomiting, malaise, and vertigo. After which they develop hemolysis. Favism is due to a variant of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PDH). For its diagnosis, a complete anamnesis, physical examination and determination of the enzymatic activity for G6PDH are essential. All patients should receive counseling on dietary habits and be aware of the possibility of developing acute hemolytic crises due to certain infections and exposure to certain drugs or toxins.
