| Summary: | Inventory turnover is a financial indicator that measures the efficiency with which a company manages its inventory. This indicator is crucial to evaluate the operational efficiency and liquidity of a company. A higher inventory turnover generally indicates efficient management, as products are sold quickly and the costs associated with storing unsold inventory are minimized, on the other hand, a low turnover can signal problems such as obsolescence, oversupply or a slow product rotation. Inventory turnover is key to evaluating the financial health and operational efficiency of a company as it relates to its inventory management. The present case study followed the objective of Analyzing the internal control of inventory rotation to determine the profitability of the Agrícola Joflosa marketing company in the province of Los Ríos in the city of Babahoyo in the period 2023, for this purpose a qualitative-quantitative research through the processing of non-accounting information, which are the different bibliographic results investigated and the processing of quantitative information that was applied through inventory rotation. |
