For which, a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapeutic scheme was carried out in the patient to regain her emotional stability, enjoy good self-esteem and mental health in general.En el presente caso de estudio se trató el tema Conflicto familiar y su influencia en la depresión en una mujer de 37 años de edad en la Unidad Educativa “Padre Marcos Benetazzo”, residente del cantón Babahoyo, provincia de los Ríos, del cual se pudo recopilar los datos necesarios para su elaboración, a través de entrevistas e instrumento psicológico como el Inventario de Depresión de Beck, que se le realizó a la paciente, cuyo resultado obtenido fue trastorno depresivo leve. Cabe recalcar que los conflictos familiares muchas veces ocasionan ciertos trastornos, como es el caso de la depresión que conlleva una serie de concepciones negativas de sí mismo, del mundo y del futuro.
