| Резюме: | Introduction: Parasitology is the Biology branch that is responsible for the study of parasites in dependence on living beings, for their study they are divided into three large groups that affect man: Protozoa, Helminths and Arthropods, causing one of the first signs and symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and malnutrition. Objective: To describe how nursing interventions are related to the prevention of risk factors for intestinal parasitosis in school children in the “Las Marías” Campus of the Puebloviejo Canton of the Province of Los Ríos, in the period May September 2019. Methodology: The method that was used in the research field is deductive method and inductive method, the first part of the general to the specific and the second of the specific to the general with a qualitative-quantitative approach and with the survey technique and the instrument the questionnaire, the population was 200 inhabitants and a sample consisting of 100 remained. Results: In the survey carried out on the inhabitants of the Recinto Marías, it can be seen that 63% are unaware of the origin, signs and symptoms, consequences and prevention of parasites, in addition to the risk factors that most predominate for the The appearance of these parasitic infections are socioeconomic factors and environmental factors. Conclusions: The deficit of knowledge, risk factors, hygienic habits and the little intervention of nursing, contribute to the appearance of parasitosis. |
