Sumario:The subject of this case study was the agronomic management of mango cultivation (Mangifera indica), for export in Ecuador. The mango is currently recognized as one of the finest tropical fruits of enormous acceptance in national and international markets, it represents a potential for commercial exploitation with a compromising future. But many farmers refrain from growing mango because they do not know how to give it the necessary care that this crop requires, due to this problem this report was made with the purpose of establishing the agronomic management of mango cultivation for export grown in Ecuador. To carry out this research project, study techniques were used, so information was collected Bibliography of books, magazines, papers, newspapers, scientific articles, web pages, presentations, conferences and technical brochures. For the cultivation of mango, planting, irrigation, pruning, fertilization, pest and disease control must be taken into consideration, in addition to taking due care during harvest and post-harvest. The best areas of Ecuador to cultivate this plant are: Santa Elena, Guayas, Los Ríos, Manabí and El Oro. It is recommended to carry out this crop in areas where the altitude does not exceed 800 meters above sea level and that has an amount of 2190 hours per year.
