To evaluate the LCDP's administration of the budget, the use of the deductive methodology was necessary, through the review of reports, element that allowed to evaluate the budgetary indicators and have a clear view of the current situation of the institution with regard to the administration of the economic resources allocated by the state.En el presente caso de estudio se examinó el presupuesto otorgado por la coordinación regional zona 8 de la Secretaría del Deporte del Ecuador a la Liga Cantonal Deportiva de Puebloviejo (LCDP) en el periodo 2020-2021, con la finalidad de evaluar como la asignación de recursos económicos fue administrada, luego del recorte del presupuesto por parte del gobierno ecuatoriano, a causa de la crisis económica ocasionada por el covid-19. Para evaluar la administración del presupuesto por parte de la LCDP, fue necesario la utilización de la metodología deductiva, por medio de la revisión de informes, elemento que permitió evaluar los indicadores presupuestarios y tener una visión clara de la situación actual de la institución en lo que respecta a la administración de los recursos económicos asignados por el estado.
