Summary:This present case study, in which the recurrent depressive disorder was investigated in which the incidence of depressive behavior of a 47-year-old woman who loses interest in performing activities of daily life, due to the multiple losses: family, work role, in their renal function, in their sexual functioning. Through technical techniques such as the clinical interview, it was found that the patient, after persistent difficulties in the family environment, acquired a recurrent depressive disorder. This patient has very important symptoms for the diagnosis of recurrent depressive disorders, such as the lack of emotional support from the family, due to economic problems as well as the lack of compression on the part of the husband and the disinterest of parts of the family. their children, in addition to constantly presenting depressive attacks. Psychotherapy is provided to reduce these symptoms, and thoughts were also set according to the patient's problems for a good prognosis.
