description This present case study, in which the recurrent depressive disorder was investigated in which the incidence of depressive behavior of a 47-year-old woman who loses interest in performing activities of daily life, due to the multiple losses: family, work role, in their renal function, in their sexual functioning. Through technical techniques such as the clinical interview, it was found that the patient, after persistent difficulties in the family environment, acquired a recurrent depressive disorder. This patient has very important symptoms for the diagnosis of recurrent depressive disorders, such as the lack of emotional support from the family, due to economic problems as well as the lack of compression on the part of the husband and the disinterest of parts of the family. their children, in addition to constantly presenting depressive attacks. Psychotherapy is provided to reduce these symptoms, and thoughts were also set according to the patient's problems for a good prognosis.

Psychotherapy is provided to reduce these symptoms, and thoughts were also set according to the patient's problems for a good prognosis.Este presente estudio de caso, en donde se investigó el trastorno depresivo recurrente en el cual fue notorio la incidencia de la conducta depresiva de una mujer de 47 años que pierde el interés en realizar actividades de la vida cotidiana, debido a las múltiples pérdidas: en el rol familiar, laboral, en su función renal, en su funcionamiento sexual. Mediante técnicas utilizadas como la entrevista clínica se pudo constatar que la paciente luego de las persistentes discusiones en el entorno familiar adquirió un trastorno depresivo recurrente. Esta paciente presento síntomas muy relevantes para el diagnóstico de los trastornos depresivos recurrentes, como la falta de apoyo emocional de parte de la familia, por causa de problemas económicos así como también la falta de compresión de parte del esposo, y el desinterés de partes de sus hijos, además de presentar constantemente ataques depresivos.
