| Sumari: | Over the years we have recognized the society designated as knowledge, which considers the subject of mathematics to prevail in all sciences. The new generations require analytically acquiring this branch in order to understand, analyze and apply the different innovations. Behavioral theory must leave it behind. All this in order that teachers can ask, manifest new teaching themes. This deduction placed the current work to establish that in the Educational Unit "Juan E Verdesoto", is governed by essential characteristics on which mathematical teaching is based. A bibliographical research was done, documentary that allows improving the acquisition of knowledge that allow improving the learning process of the students of Initial Education.
