The information obtained was through psychological techniques and tools that helped in the process of this case, among them are; the medical history, the interview, the observation and the May test, with the purpose of analyzing and understanding the problem in a better way. The results that were obtained are similar to the case study, in the same way the conclusion reached is that the identified patient in which this work has been performed, has a mild cognitive impairment, where their cognitive functions are affected such as memory, attention and information retention, a therapeutic scheme will be provided to improve the life condition of it. |

The results that were obtained are similar to the case study, in the same way the conclusion reached is that the identified patient in which this work has been performed, has a mild cognitive impairment, where their cognitive functions are affected such as memory, attention and information retention, a therapeutic scheme will be provided to improve the life condition of it.Este presente trabajo de investigación tiene como tema “Deterioro cognitivo en un paciente con insuficiencia renal que realiza hemodiálisis” con el fin de poder establecer cuál es el nivel del deterioro cognitivo que se encuentra la paciente que realiza hemodiálisis, también se indaga a cerca de las capacidades cognitivas que presenta y se encuentran afectadas, mediante una evaluación psicológica para poder mejorar su condición de vida. La información que se obtuvo fue mediante técnicas y herramientas psicológicas que ayudaron en el proceso de este del presente caso, entre ellas se encuentran; la historia clínica, la entrevista, la observación y el test de mayo, con el propósito de analizar y entender de mejor manera la dicha problemática.
