要約:As it is known, vision is a fundamental and essential component in what it entails in the integral development of a person and in his development, on the Internet we find multiple articles that agree and verify that the learning of a person, the information he receives is through vision. Likewise, it mostly interferes with a person's abilities, that is, it is influenced by this sense. This thesis had the objective of identifying if there is an influence of refractive errors on academic performance in 1st year Baccalaureate students of the U.E. Emigdio Esparza Moreno. The deductive research method was used with which we were able to clear the general and inductive problem with which the variables such as academic performance and refractive errors were cleared, in addition the type of field research was used because it was investigated in the educational institution and it was collected. Data on the study population and descriptive since evidence was taken into account that would indicate some type of repercussion on the academic performance of the study population. The results were analyzed and processed using percentage tables and graphs that represented equivalent values for each of the variables and resulted in that within 100% of the study population, 72% suffered from myopia, 13% were that have been corrected, that 21% did not reach optimal academic performance. It was concluded that within the study population there is a minimal negative influence from refractive errors towards the academic performance of students, and it is said to be minimal because the population with low academic performance did not exceed 25%, taking into account Note that only students with refractive errors were mainly included in the research since that was the independent variable.
