Eficacia de seis insecticidas para el control del trips del cultivo de ajo en la zona de San Antonio de Mira, provincia del Carchi

In the present research the effectiveness of six insecticides to control thrips garlic crop in the area of San Antonio de Mira, Carchi province, in order to determine the effectiveness of the insecticides to control thrips was evaluated garlic cultivation, evaluate the agronomic performance and yield and quality of harvested bulbs perform economic analysis of each of the treatment . Design Randomized Complete Block (RCBD) with six treatments and four replications. The total area of the experiment was 700 m2, plot experience of 16 m2, 8.64 m2 useful area, the distance between roads and repeats 1 m. Population of living individuals before and after treatments, effectiveness of insecticides, plant height, polar and equatorial diameter of bulbs, average weight of bulbs and yield variables were evaluated. Economic analysis was performed based on the yield (kg / ha) and the cost of each treatment. All variables were subjected to analysis of variance and Tukey's test at 5% was used to determine statistical difference between the means of the factors and interpretation........
