There are general factors that affect the risk of abortion in any pregnancy and at least 5 groups of specific factors are associated with recurrent abortion. The percentage weight of each one of them in the universe of recurrent abortions is difficult to determine with precision given the bias represented by the different lines of research of the published experiences Thyroid pathology is frequent in the development of pregnancy and its prevalence depends on the hormonal values used as a reference in the populations studied. It is very important to timely detection and immediate treatment because its failure to observe can have negative consequences for the mother and the fetus
