This research also aims to provide post-covid-19 recommendations for the hotel sector that contributes to the reactivation of tourism. The methodology applied in this research is: exploratory, inductive, and analytical with a qualitative and quantitative approach, to obtain clearer and more precise answers we used the survey that for pandemic reasons was carried out online to the different citizens of the canton. |

De un momento a otro este sector se enfrentó a una situación totalmente distinta debido a las emergencias sanitarias que no solo afectan a la sociedad, sino que también golpeó fuertemente al sector económico. Montalvo es un cantón que goza con un clima y un paisaje maravilloso, su situación geográfica ayuda a que los turistas visiten en un mismo lugar, tanto de la región costa como de la región sierra, pero a raíz de que inicio la pandemia, se ha reducido drásticamente la afluencia de turistas que llegaban cada fin de semana a disfrutar de este hermoso cantón. Esta investigación pretende además brindar recomendaciones post covid-19 para el sector hotelero que contribuya a la reactivación turística.
