| Summary: | The objective of the present final work corresponding to the practical component of the complexive examination was carried out in order to analyze the efficiency of nitrogen in forage crops in Ecuador, where parameters such as grass species, nitrogen fertilization, green matter, dry matter were described, nitrogen sources and their efficiency in this type of crop. In addition, the conditions of training and advice on nitrogen fertilization were analyzed in order to obtain the highest efficiency of the fertilizer for the further development of the genetic potential of the grass production and training of producers. There are around twenty species of grasses used as the main fodder crops in the country and that respond significantly in the production of dry matter with nitrogen fertilization and that project excellent expectations regarding the agricultural issue. The opposite and controversial occurs in the process of promoting the acquisition of knowledge from the producer and its respective advice from government agencies so that fertilization management is applied and, in general, the entire process of forage production at the national level that allows the progress of livestock in Ecuador. It is more than evidenced that the efficient use of nitrogenous fertilizers with the prior knowledge of the demand of the nutrients that pastures have, the role of animals added to this, environmental factors contribute to an economically efficient, competitive and sustainable animal production, based on the rational use of farm resources. |
