| Samenvatting: | HELLP syndrome is considered one of the main complications in pregnant women who present pre-eclampsia-eclampsia, although its incidence is not very frequent, it affects less than 1% of pregnancies, however, it is a health problem that can put The life of both the mother and the fetus is at risk, with timely treatment and delivery of the baby being essential to avoid complications. This syndrome is called HELLP for its abbreviations in English, it is characterized by hemolysis, increased liver enzymes and thrombocytopenia is one of the most serious maternal-fetal complications during pregnancy, approximately 10% of pregnancies complicated with severe pre-eclampsia or eclampsia are affected by this syndrome. In the present clinical case, it will be a pregnant woman of 36 weeks of gestation who goes to the emergency area of the Baba Basic Hospital, presenting a clinical picture of two days of evolution characterized by arterial hypertension of 180/95, headache, visual difficulty, right upper abdominal pain, anemia, elevated transaminases, and thrombocytopenia.
