| Sažetak: | This study is at the forefront of research that aims to understand and evaluate the real impact of artificial intelligence on the evolution of cyber threats and the effectiveness of preventive measures in the regional business environment. To optimize operations and services, companies use artificial intelligence technology to improve efficiency and competitiveness. But these innovations also create new vulnerabilities as increasingly sophisticated cyber threats use artificial intelligence capabilities to overcome traditional defenses, challenging the security of digital assets and entire data. This is particularly important in an environment where digitalization and online processes are accelerating, especially given the restrictions imposed in recent years during the Covid-19 pandemic. While this has allowed many organizations to continue their operations, it has also increased the interconnection and dependence on computer systems, opening spaces of vulnerability that malicious actors are exploiting. The findings of this research will allow us to identify gaps between the evolution of cyberattacks and the current preventive capabilities of companies. Concrete recommendations will be made to improve prediction, detection and response mechanisms for this new generation of computational threats. Addressing this issue will help to better understand and manage the challenges and opportunities that AI presents for enterprise IT security. Using an exploratory and descriptive methodology, this research aims to comprehensively examine a topic of growing interest, considering initial results, expected evolution and areas of improvement in the emerging field of AI in business cybersecurity. By integrating conceptual exploration techniques and systematic description of evidence, it seeks to provide useful knowledge for informed decision making by both the academic community and companies. |
