Özet:The research focuses on analyzing the quality of hospitality provided by most restaurants in the Quevedo canton in the province of Los Ríos, in this way the relational dynamics between service providers and customers are analyzed. The quality of service is evaluated by the various appreciations and comments generated by consumers of an establishment, the owners, in addition to providing the service, are responsible for evaluating its quality. In this investigation, the appreciations of clients in terms of hospitality, treatment, attention and quality of service in different restaurant establishments in the Quevedo canton were measured. In this work, whoever is in contact with tourists (host) is identified as a fundamental part for the visitor's experience to be memorable, and this lies in the fact that their main task is hospitality -understood as receiving, helping and caring for others. as one would like them to do. An inductive methodology was used with a non-experimental modality, using an instrument to focus on the main problems perceived by consumers of this segment or type of tourist activity in the Quevedo.
