| Yhteenveto: | SUMMARY The lack of knowledge of phytosanitary management in bean cultivation generates great economic losses and affects crop production. That is why this research was conducted in order to identify the main pests and diseases of the parish of San Blas, Urcuquí canton, for being one of the most important economic crops in the parish. The methodology that was used for this research topic was through a survey of twenty-five farmers of the parish with specific questions addressed to the subject of study. It was determined that the most severe diseases within the bean crop were anthracnose, followed by rust, ash, spot eels and the blighted willow disease. Within the root system it was determined that Fusarium oxysporum is the disease that most affects the root system, followed by Rhizoctinia solani and Phytium spp. In addition, in terms of pests within the crop it was deduced that thrips is the pest that causes the most damage to the crop followed by whitefly, furling, green lorito, minador, red spider, pulper and Meloidogyne incgnata. Therefore, it is recommended to control pests and diseases of the bean crop, taking into account the rotation of active ingredients, to avoid economic losses to reduce the resistance in the pest in the bean crop. |
