Riassunto:Nutritional intervention is essential to contribute to improving people's quality of life. The present case is a 20-year-old female patient with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, who comes to the medical consultation with a family member for presenting bleeding in the oral cavity after extraction of a molar, weight and hair loss, with a history of non-post-traumatic hematomas and difficult healing. The anthropometric, biochemical, clinical and dietary nutritional evaluation is carried out, where it presents an estimated weight of 40kg with a height of 152 cm and a body mass index of 17.3 kg / m2, within the biochemical examinations it presents alteration of the indicators of creatinine 4.2, ANA by IFI 1.80, and hemoglobin of 8.7. The objective of the case study is to improve the nutritional status, where it intervenes with the prescription of diet 1600 kilocalories fractionated in 5 meal times. As a conclusion after the follow-up, control and monitoring of the nutritional intervention the patient with systemic lupus erythematosus has a positive effect on the nutritional status, weight gain is observed in 3 months with a considerable increase according to body mass index, the biochemical values of creatinine and ANA by total IFI in addition to the improved vital signs.
