Čoahkkáigeassu:The research carried out in adolescents aged 13 to 16 years at the Vinces National College, has allowed us to identify that the population studied presents problems of ignorance about the responsible application of contraceptive methods, which is why it can lead to an unplanned pregnancy ; For this reason, it is necessary to carry out this research project, because it allows to determine the knowledge that the studied population possesses about the main contraceptive methods, and how through the intervention of the infirmary a greater empowerment can be promoted in the society, about the importance of leading a responsible sex life. The development of the research has a qualitative and quantitative approach, because the level of knowledge of adolescents from 13 to 16 years of age is analyzed and represented by percentage indicators; The research methodology used in the process is made up of the deductive and inductive methods, the type of field research, experimental and descriptive, finally, the investigative technique of the survey supported by a questionnaire aimed at the population targeted by study as a research instrument, in which it has been possible to determine as main findings, that adolescents are unaware of the risks that exist in having sexual relations without applying contraceptive methods, or in their absence the main dangers or consequences of an unwanted pregnancy.
