Shrnutí:The present clinical case addresses the treatment of a 47-year-old female patient diagnosed with lumbar scoliosis. A personalized therapeutic plan centered on physiotherapy was developed to address her specific needs. Initial assessment revealed limitations in lumbar spine mobility, chronic low back pain, and postural alterations associated with scoliosis. The physiotherapy treatment plan was structured around the following objectives: reduce low back pain, improve core stability and function, correct muscular imbalances, and enhance spinal mobility. To achieve these goals, a variety of therapeutic exercises were prescribed, including muscle strengthening, dynamic stability exercises, and mobilization of the spine in different planes of movement. Significant improvements were observed in the patient during the course of treatment. Reduction in low back pain was evident from the early weeks, allowing for increased participation in physiotherapy sessions. Progressive improvement in core stability and postural alignment was observed. The patient demonstrated increased body awareness and ability to maintain proper posture in daily life. Upon completion, a comprehensive assessment was conducted to measure the patient's progress. Results indicated a notable improvement in functionality and quality of life. The patient reported a significant decrease in low back pain and increased ability to perform daily activities without discomfort. This case highlights the effectiveness of physiotherapy as a treatment for lumbar scoliosis in middle-aged patients. A personalized, multidisciplinary approach can help improve symptoms, function, and quality of life in these patients.
