| Zusammenfassung: | VIII. SUMMARY This research was carried out at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, located at Km 7½ of the Babahoyo - Montalvo road. The terrain is located in the geographical coordinates of 79 ° 32' and Latitude South and 1 ° 49' of Latitude West, with a height of 8 msnm, presents a humid tropical climate, with average annual temperature of 27.7 ° C, average precipitation 2791.4 mm. The material for planting the Piata and Marandú (Brachiaria brizantha) pastures was obtained from the commercial house of Equaquímica. The treatments were constituted by the Piata and Marandú grass varieties and the sub - treatments by the nutritional requirement with 160 N; 140 N; 120 N and a control without application. The experimental design "Split Parcels" was applied with two treatments, four sub-treatments and three replications. In order to estimate the effects of treatment measures, the Tukey test was used at 95% of probabilities. The tasks that were carried out during the development of the experiment were soil analysis, soil preparation, planting, weed control, irrigation, fertilization, phytosanitary control and harvesting. The data to be evaluated were plant height at 30 and 90 days, leaf length at 30 and 90 days, days at flowering, fresh and dry biomass weight (yield) and economic analysis. According to the results obtained, the effects of chemical fertilization on biomass production in the Piata and Marandú pastures in the Babahoyo area were reflected; The highest plant height at 30 days after sowing corresponded to the Piata variety and at 90 days the Marandu variety, in both evaluations with 140 N doses; The highest leaf length was observed in the Marandú variety with application of 160 N at 30 days and the dose of 140 N at 90 days; The Marandú variety flourished in the longest without fertilizer application; The weight of fresh biomass reported higher results with the use of 140 N with the Marandú variety and the dry biomass weight was obtained in the variety Marandú with 160 N and in the economic analysis All the treatments were profitable, standing out the variety Marandú with the application of 140 N with $ 2011.02. |
