Proceso de atención de enfermería en paciente neonato con hiperbilirrubinemia en el área de neonatología del Hospital Básico Sagrado Corazón de Jesús.

In the following clinical case, a newborn with hyperbilirubinemia is described that is characterized by yellowing of the skin and mucous membranes where the nurse must give educational conversations to parents and educational talks in the community as preventive measures, to prevent income from happening often in the hospitals of this pathology, thus providing integral and adequate information so that there is a better understanding of the subject. Therefore, this case study describes a newborn with hyperbilirubinemia that was admitted in 2019 on the 17th day of December, in the neonatology area of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Hospital in the city of Quevedo, in the Province of Los Ríos- Ecuador, at the time of admission with 4 days of birth presents jaundice with Kramer Zone 3, in assessment, doctor refers to having complementary exams. At the nursing assessment, an active neonate is observed, reactive with the icteric skin, good suction reflex, 40 weeks gestation by Capurro, Apgar 8/9, Siverman and Anderson test: 0 points, normal Moro reflex, vital signs inside of the normal parameters. In the development of the nursing care process, the nursing diagnosis is a risk of neonatal jaundice, type Dx Real Nursing. By which once the diagnosis was made, medical treatment was fulfilled by providing nursing care (SOAPIE, care plan, activities) through which the nursing process will be carried out, to provide optimal care and therefore finds good results in the care given by the nursing professional, likewise, the inpatient and outpatient patient will be fully monitored.
