Agregar Etiqueta | Sumario: | The research develops a strategic plan to promote sustainable tourism in the Ruta del Río of the Quevedo canton, through a comprehensive diagnosis that revealed a destination with significant potential for tourism development. The study addressed the current situation, evaluating the tourist offer, the socioeconomic impact and designing strategies for its strengthening. The findings showed a 300% growth in tourist activities, the integration of more than 90 local entrepreneurs and the diversification of services in sectors such as gastronomy, entertainment and sports. The analysis identified important challenges in infrastructure, training and promotion, proposing a development model that balances tourist attraction with environmental conservation. The designed strategies seek to enhance local capacities, preserve the river ecosystem and turn the route into a benchmark for sustainable tourism, generating economic opportunities and promoting the protection of the natural environment. |
