Yhteenveto:The present case study "Social phobia and its incidence in the emotional sphere in a 45-year-old adult woman", was based on the fact that social phobia is characterized by feeling intense fear or anxiety in certain social situations, within which the negative emotions causing affectation. A methodology with a qualitative descriptive approach was used with a quasi-experimental design, where various techniques were administered to obtain data, such as clinical observation, semi-structured interview, clinical history, psychological tests, for example, Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale LSAS), Social Phobia Inventory SPIN, Brief Social Phobia Scale BSPS, which served to ratify the presumptive diagnosis. Similarly, through the diagnostic manuals, the presumptive diagnosis could be evidenced, such as the DSM-V (300.23) Social anxiety disorder (social phobia) and the ICD-10 (F40.10) Social phobias. Among the localized findings, it is evident that from the change of address and school the patient, since she began to present symptoms of intense fear when being next to strangers, in addition, since the mother sent her to buy and if she brought something wrong He punished him by sending him to change the product. Finally, techniques focused on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy were used, where cognitive restructuring was provided, however, it is expected that in the future systematic desensitization and passive relaxation techniques will be applied, which will help reduce their symptoms.
