The objective is to apply the process of nursing care in a 53-year-old patient with pulmonary tuberculosis hospitalized in the clinical area in the "San José" room of the Martin Icaza General Hospital in the city of Babahoyo in the second semester of 2017. The process of nursing care necessary for the patient was used, according to his pathology, since it is the basic and essential tool, which scientifically applies the necessary interventions to reduce the risks produced by his illness. In the development of the nursing care process, we were able to know and adapt to the realization of this necessary and timely tool, which serves us in our working life as a future Bachelor of Nursing. |

In the development of the nursing care process, we were able to know and adapt to the realization of this necessary and timely tool, which serves us in our working life as a future Bachelor of Nursing.La tuberculosis pulmonar es un problema para la salud pública a nivel nacional a pesar de los tratamientos que existen en la actualidad y las medidas de control promovidas por el Ministerio de Salud Pública, que al ser detectada a tiempo la enfermedad, el tratamiento nos dará un resultado favorable para el paciente y su pronta recuperación si sigue de forma disciplinada el tratamiento directamente observado y las normas protocolarias indicadas según el esquema correspondiente a su patología. El Objetivo es aplicar el proceso de atención de enfermería en paciente de 53 años de edad con Tuberculosis Pulmonar hospitalizado en el área de clínico en la sala “San José” del Hospital General Martin Icaza de la Ciudad de Babahoyo en el segundo semestre del 2017. Se utilizó el proceso de atención de enfermería necesario para el paciente, según su patología, ya que es la herramienta básica y esencial, que de manera científica se aplican las intervenciones necesarias para reducir los riesgos producidos por su enfermedad.
