Utilidad de la nebulización en el tratamiento del asma bronquial en niños de 0-5 años que acuden al servicio de terapia respiratoria del Hospital Juan Montalvan de Ricaurte de octubre 2018 – abril 2019

Asthma is a chronic disease that affects people especially children from 0 to 5 years old. It is worse at night and they can not understand it because of their young age and they only cry. that leads parents to enter a high degree of stress for not knowing what to do. For the control of this disease the Nebulization technique is used. It is a method that allows to divide a medicine into micro drops and this can be assimilated by the patient. General Objective: To demonstrate the usefulness of nebulization in the treatment of bronchial asthma in children 0-5 years of age who attend the Respiratory Therapy service of the Hospital Juan Montalván de Ricaurte October 2018 - April 2019. Methodology: The method used was the deductive one; the quantitative modality and the type of research was descriptive. Results: According to the data that could be obtained in the surveys applied to parents and professionals of Respiratory Therapy, in its entirety there was a reference that the applications of Respiratory Therapy techniques such as Nebulization, Vibration and Percussion are of great importance for the management of bronchial asthma in patients under the age of 0 to 5 years. Conclusion: According to the data obtained in the effectiveness of the treatment in terms of nebulization in the treatment of bronchial asthma has a very good effectiveness.
